Native. A small, deciduous, mound-shaped woody shrub growing 2-5 ft. tall. Once established will rapidly produce a dense colony to 8' w. Bruised leaves give off a sweet fragrance. Prefers sun to part shade and well-drained conditions. Tolerant of drought, wet sites, and wind.
