Low mounding, cool season grass with evergreen foliage. Spike-like silvery flowers that emerge in spring mature into soft tan seed heads by autumn. Plants tolerant of dry shade, excess salinity, drought, alkaline pH and many different soil types. 24" h x 18" w. Z 5-9.

Native. A clump forming grass with delicate, open panicles. Foliage progresses from green during the summer to orange in fall and cream color in winter. A prarie grass for dry, sunny locations. 2'/ 3' in flower. Z 4-9.
